Word found unreadable content...

I am working on my dissertation and recently purchased Word 2010.  Now, when I try to open my paper I get an error message that "Word found unreadable content in....."  When I select yes, to recover that contents I then get another error message that says "we are sorry.  We can't open ......because we found a problem with its contents."  The details then state:  "Operation aborted: max-element-depth constraint violated."

I have tried doing the open and repair and then saving but nothing works...help please?

    It appears that your file was probably saved directly from Word to your Flash Drive and as a result, it is hopelessly corrupted.

    You should never save a file directly from Word to any form of removable media or open file and work on it from such media.

    Hi all,

    My name is Cole. I am in a bit of a state. I have a Major post graduate assignment that I need to hand in. I started on part of my research yesterday and saved my document in ms word 2010.
