Hi, I've made a fresh install of windows 8.1, and then office 2013. However excel 2013 crashes every time right after I try to scroll down. Brilliant it works for me too. I noticed OSF.DLL was a common factor in the event log for both Word and Excel and had tried to find a version on the Microsoft site. Didn't think of just deleting it ! Well done adutchguy1986 Not my doing. I'm just spreading the word.

If I create a new user (administrator) Excel and Word behave correctly. Changing default printer made no difference, disabling all but Microsoft Services made no difference disabling all Microsoft Services stops Office running and I have not tried enabling Microsoft services one at a time to see what happens (too tedious). OFCAT did not show any issues. So still very frustrated as Excel 2013 (crashes when scrolling) and Word 2013 (crashes when spell checking) do not work in my user profile. Steve
