No matter how good of a picture I have when I insert it into Visio 2013 Pro, it is blurry.

Check out a free program called Inkscape (research it).  It takes a bit of work, but I did get a usable version to insert into VISIO.  I can't believe this problem still exists!  Almost makes me want to go MAC. :(

I am dealing with the exact same issue. As in your case this is for business purposes and I am having big issues with inserting images and becoming blurry and unusable. What software did you find that fixed your problem.

Oddly enough I found free software that can do what I want and keeps my images looking good.  It's not as pretty, but DIA works great!  You guys should give them a call, maybe they can fix your problem.

This is kind of an important matter for the operation of our business.  Is there an ETA for the fix?  Like am I looking at a week or a year?  I need to know so I can get a refund for Visio before it's too late.

Go for the refund. If the fix is close enough to release to make it a decision criteria for a refund or keep decision it would show up as a hotfix identified by this tool:

The Microsoft Office Configuration Analyzer Tool (OffCAT) is a program that provides a detailed report of your installed Office programs. It scans one application at a time This report includes many parameters about your Office program configuration and highlights known problems found when OffCAT scans your computer. For any problems that are listed in the report, you are provided with a link to a public-facing article (usually a Microsoft Knowledge Base article) on the issue so you can read about possible fixes for the problem. If you are a Help Desk professional, you can also save the report to file so that the report can be viewed in the Office Configuration Analyzer Tool on another client where the tool is installed.

• Inclusion of the CalCheck tool

• Over 300 detection rules

At last count (2013 Sept), there were over 230 different detection rules for Outlook in the OCAT tool. All of these rules are included in OffCAT, plus at least 20 new rules for Outlook. As the OffCAT tool is not only focused on Outlook, there are an additional 70+ rules for other Office programs.

• Office 365 resources
