OneNote for Mac now requires Mac OS X Yosemite

With today's OneNote for Mac update in the App Store (version 15.7.1), we've changed the minimum system requirements for OneNote to take advantage of the latest and greatest capabilities in Mac OS X Yosemite (10.10). Yosemite (10.10) is a free upgrade and is supported on the same hardware as Mavericks (10.9).

If you previously installed OneNote for Mac and are on OS X Mavericks (10.9), you can continue using the older version of OneNote for Mac, however in order to get today's update or any future OneNote updates, you must upgrade your OS to Yosemite 10.10 or later.

    Mavericks is still supported, and still updating with new Safari and Security Updates...

    R2012(1) ~ Not according to this article:

    Update your Mac: Apple fixes major flaw in OS X Yosemite, but won't patch Lion, Mountain Lion or Mavericks

    Apple released security update 2015-004, so Mavericks is still supported.

    it is not true

    Mavericks was updated to 

    OS X 10.9.5 (13F1077) including latest security fixes

    AppStore shows it as an 'incompatible update', but still you can click and update it to a compatible 'older version'.  

    My problem now is that a copy I found online was already associated with someone else's appleID..

    Thanks for your comment, but AppStore still says that it was purchased with someone else's AppleID or it was cancelled or refunded..
