Word for iPad Save As PDF

As far as I can tell, there is no way to save a word document (accessed via onedrive) as a PDF from my iPad. I have looked into third party programs to convert onedrive word documents to PDFs, but they mess up our header.

It is important for us to be able to work on word documents on the go, and email out a pdf of the document once complete. When will we be able to save as a PDF?

You're correct that Word for iPad doesn't currently have the ability to save as PDF. Thanks for the feedback on this and the explanation about how it impacts your workflow. I'll take this back to the team for consideration for a future release.

    I have only just started using word for iPad. I still prefer using it on a computer because of more options but I feel like with this feature I could easily travel with only my ipad and still get some good work done. Definitely would be awesome.

    This thread is helpful and somewhat therapeutic as I've spent two days and about $20 on various PDF writer apps trying to convert my medium-level formatted MS Word for iPad document into a PDF. Now I know it's currently impossible -- which absolutely blows my mind. How could this possibly be overlooked when it's part of Word for Mac as one can simply 'save as' and select PDF??

    What's the timeline to have this fixed? Without the PDF conversion option Word, Excel and Powerpoint are all useless to me so no point in subscribing. Please advise. Thank you.

    new update for I pads this morning available. Fixed my major issue. Send as PDF now available on ipad.
