Word for iPad Save As PDF

As far as I can tell, there is no way to save a word document (accessed via onedrive) as a PDF from my iPad. I have looked into third party programs to convert onedrive word documents to PDFs, but they mess up our header.

It is important for us to be able to work on word documents on the go, and email out a pdf of the document once complete. When will we be able to save as a PDF?

You're correct that Word for iPad doesn't currently have the ability to save as PDF. Thanks for the feedback on this and the explanation about how it impacts your workflow. I'll take this back to the team for consideration for a future release.

    Actually. I can confirm. I have just installed fresh copy of word from app store on my ipad pro and the send as attachment option is there but "SEND AS PDF" is NOT!!! Once you choose method of sharing (outlook or SMS or other) it just attaches the DOC file.  So no, the latest Word does NOT let you send doc as PDF.

    Ok, I guess I won't argue with you. I can only say that I, too have the latest version on the iPad and it still allows me to send as PDF. I just updated it 5 minutes ago and tested it and it works very well.

    Can I ask if you are an Office365 subscriber? Perhaps this functionality is not available to non-subscribers?

    Is there a different version for the iPad Pro? I am running an Air 2.

    It is very strange that we have different functionality.

    I believe there lies the answer to our different versions.  I am not a subscriber and likely neither is the other gentleman with the same problem. If that's the case, it's a slap in the face for all the folks that for years have purchased office as a stand alone product.
