Word for iPad Save As PDF

As far as I can tell, there is no way to save a word document (accessed via onedrive) as a PDF from my iPad. I have looked into third party programs to convert onedrive word documents to PDFs, but they mess up our header.

It is important for us to be able to work on word documents on the go, and email out a pdf of the document once complete. When will we be able to save as a PDF?

Thanks, everything else is great so far!

Hello and thanks for the feedback. Glad to hear everything else is working out well for you!

You're correct that Word for iPad doesn't currently have the ability to save as PDF. Thanks for the feedback on this and the explanation about how it impacts your workflow. I'll take this back to the team for consideration for a future release.

I have version 1.19 dated March 11, 2016.  In addition to the two options you show, there is a space under Copy Link and then another option - A paperclip icon with the words Send Attachment.  When Send Attachment is selected, the options are Document or PDF.  When PDF is selected, the options are Get Outlook or Send A Copy.  When Send A Copy is selected, a dialog box shows a PDF is being prepared and then provides all the communication options of Message, Mail, Add to Notes, More, HP ePrint, Print, More.

Not sure what to tell you but I've checked the version and I have the most recent version.

I see that if you go into the recents tab then there is the share option. But when I click on it I get 'send attachment' but when I click this I only get the options of sending with outlook or sending a copy. Neither give me a PDF option., only a normal .doc format

Speaking for myself, and probably for others on this thread, we cannot duplicate the behavior you are describing.

I suggest you remove the app and reinstall it. Perhaps it is a glitch that might go away then.
