Word for iPad Save As PDF

As far as I can tell, there is no way to save a word document (accessed via onedrive) as a PDF from my iPad. I have looked into third party programs to convert onedrive word documents to PDFs, but they mess up our header.

It is important for us to be able to work on word documents on the go, and email out a pdf of the document once complete. When will we be able to save as a PDF?

You're correct that Word for iPad doesn't currently have the ability to save as PDF. Thanks for the feedback on this and the explanation about how it impacts your workflow. I'll take this back to the team for consideration for a future release.

    I have found a workaround. In word for iOS, click on the small guy on the top right corner, click share and then click share as PDFs. You can email the doc as PDFs to yourself and then save the attachment from the email received.

    Finally you gave us the option of sending attachments in PDF format via email and what a god send that was. It made life so much easier. Now in the current update, Microsoft have taken that option away. Rather than advancing they have taken a step backwards.why have they done this? It's so frustrating because now we have to use a PC to format a decent PDF and once again no longer have the ability to do it on the go.

    That option is still available in Word ver. 1.19 which is the current version for iOS.
