Word for iPad Save As PDF

As far as I can tell, there is no way to save a word document (accessed via onedrive) as a PDF from my iPad. I have looked into third party programs to convert onedrive word documents to PDFs, but they mess up our header.

It is important for us to be able to work on word documents on the go, and email out a pdf of the document once complete. When will we be able to save as a PDF?

Thanks, everything else is great so far!

Hello and thanks for the feedback. Glad to hear everything else is working out well for you!

You're correct that Word for iPad doesn't currently have the ability to save as PDF. Thanks for the feedback on this and the explanation about how it impacts your workflow. I'll take this back to the team for consideration for a future release.

I think you may be referring to pre 11 March 2016 update. I assure you that now you only get 2 options. 1- invite people, 2- copy link, neither of which allows you to send a copy via email.

No it isn't. If you look at the top right hand corner where the option used to be (with the icon of the head)  now you can only invite people or copy a link. If you invite people then you have to open the document up in a service such as OneDrive which totally messes the .doc format up.

The function of the option IS still available.  In addition to Invite People and Copy Link is the open Send Attachment.  You can choose that and then you have the option of sending it as a Document or PDF.
