Word for iPad Save As PDF

As far as I can tell, there is no way to save a word document (accessed via onedrive) as a PDF from my iPad. I have looked into third party programs to convert onedrive word documents to PDFs, but they mess up our header.

It is important for us to be able to work on word documents on the go, and email out a pdf of the document once complete. When will we be able to save as a PDF?

You're correct that Word for iPad doesn't currently have the ability to save as PDF. Thanks for the feedback on this and the explanation about how it impacts your workflow. I'll take this back to the team for consideration for a future release.

    To export to PDF and to move files to other apps is essential, as PDF, since its the most used format for communication. I have used Adobe Reader with it's PDF Pack Feature, wich costs 9€ per month  and still doesnt't work with certain features, such as tilted text boxes. Without PDF Export, Microsoft Word for iPad is still inferior to Apple Pages, in terms of quality.

    Same issue... it would be one thing if there were an acceptable workaround such as going to OneDrive and exporting there, but as C. Cross said, OneDrive is not good at maintaining some critical Word formatting (such as headers).  Documents look fine in Word but not being able to send to PDF has me paying for a Office 365 subscription but using Apple's Pages for documents that I need to get into PDF at some point.  Sad.
