Word for iPad Save As PDF

As far as I can tell, there is no way to save a word document (accessed via onedrive) as a PDF from my iPad. I have looked into third party programs to convert onedrive word documents to PDFs, but they mess up our header.

It is important for us to be able to work on word documents on the go, and email out a pdf of the document once complete. When will we be able to save as a PDF?

You're correct that Word for iPad doesn't currently have the ability to save as PDF. Thanks for the feedback on this and the explanation about how it impacts your workflow. I'll take this back to the team for consideration for a future release.

    Equally important for me too, I have to send secure quotations to clients which must not be altered....a PDF is the best way to ensure this.

    because the mobile app lacks this capability it cuts down my ability for remote working.

    please fix it soon!

    Hi iDerik,

    Save as PDF and "Open In" are key requirements for Office on iPad to be useful. I took the Office 365 subscription to use the apps, but find myself severely constrained by these missing features. If you are without internet, such as on a plane, there is currently no way to transfer a file to another device or application that could convert the file into a PDF... Also, in some cases I have internet connectivity on my phone but not my iPad, but cannot transfer the document to the iPhone to email it for example. If I could at least "open in", I could not only PDF it, but send it to the iPhone through apps that can do that  through local networks or bluetooth, and then email the file of a PDF... 

    Looking forward to updates of the apps to ensure I keep using them!
