Word for iPad Save As PDF

As far as I can tell, there is no way to save a word document (accessed via onedrive) as a PDF from my iPad. I have looked into third party programs to convert onedrive word documents to PDFs, but they mess up our header.

It is important for us to be able to work on word documents on the go, and email out a pdf of the document once complete. When will we be able to save as a PDF?

You're correct that Word for iPad doesn't currently have the ability to save as PDF. Thanks for the feedback on this and the explanation about how it impacts your workflow. I'll take this back to the team for consideration for a future release.

    iDerik,

    Please add me to the list of folks that desire the .doc to .pdf ability.  I'm also one that would like the "open in" feature added as well. 

    I'm in the USAF, and I'm seeing (and using) .pdf all of the time. It's almost like it's the favorite type of formate to email documents.  I also like to create things in Word, and then use ibooks to present from. (That way, it won't open the keyboard when I try to move to the next page.)  The .pdf format is perfect for my uses.

    Please add the .pdf conversion and "open in" feature to our microsoft 360 products.

    I'm also disappointed in the inability to convert my word doc into a pdf. I've been trying to utilize different apps but the format changes with the alignment or the logo in the company header disappears. I love my ipad and use it out in the field. It's a great tool for work and I enjoy the ease of being able to use the device to stow all of my engineer drawings, conversion calculators, a camera but I can't convert a word document to a pdf??? It's a real pain for me to have to carry around my laptop, a 17" MacBook Pro, which is not light in weight, just so I can complete my reports on it. I can't use pages for my report because again, I experience formatting issues. For $100 a YEAR I expect superior quality.

    Please get this pdf export capabilities added ASAP.  App is useless to me onside and when traveling without it
