Word for iPad Save As PDF

As far as I can tell, there is no way to save a word document (accessed via onedrive) as a PDF from my iPad. I have looked into third party programs to convert onedrive word documents to PDFs, but they mess up our header.

It is important for us to be able to work on word documents on the go, and email out a pdf of the document once complete. When will we be able to save as a PDF?

You're correct that Word for iPad doesn't currently have the ability to save as PDF. Thanks for the feedback on this and the explanation about how it impacts your workflow. I'll take this back to the team for consideration for a future release.

    Hi,

    I just bought an iPad Pro for professional reasons and changed my Macbook from Office 2011 to Office 365 and Word 2016.

    So far I am quite disappointed that a lot of standard functions are still not implemented on the ipad version of word.

    E.g. It seems to be imossible to change frame lignes on a table.

    And worst ever, there is no way so send of a layouted Word Doc with different Portrai and Landscape sides as one PDF to anyone. And not save it as PDF neither.

    Honestly, this is no good enough yet!

    I just started using Word on the ipad and I have a few simple questions, and maybe someone here might be able to help.

    The biggest issue I have so far is how to output a pdf file and email it.  I see the option for doing it and it works just great, except what do you do when the file size exceeeds that of your email provider, like Hotmail.  If I have a 75mb file, how do I export a pdf file? I originally though that the files might come up when I access them thru itunes, but they don't show up there at all.

    And here's the last issue.  I have installed a number of fonts onto the ipad using the AnyFont app and it works great.  The problem is that if I try to open the document in Word thru One Drive or anything else, the added fonts don't display properly. I only found this out in an effort to try a work around to export the larger file sizes.

    So, at this point I have no way to export any file size larger than 25mb, which doesn't seem to make any sense.
