Word for iPad Save As PDF

As far as I can tell, there is no way to save a word document (accessed via onedrive) as a PDF from my iPad. I have looked into third party programs to convert onedrive word documents to PDFs, but they mess up our header.

It is important for us to be able to work on word documents on the go, and email out a pdf of the document once complete. When will we be able to save as a PDF?

Thanks, everything else is great so far!

Hello and thanks for the feedback. Glad to hear everything else is working out well for you!

You're correct that Word for iPad doesn't currently have the ability to save as PDF. Thanks for the feedback on this and the explanation about how it impacts your workflow. I'll take this back to the team for consideration for a future release.

if you click print and look thru printers, it gives you the option to save as pdf!

if you don't have a printer connected to your device, it should have "save as pdf" as the only option.

    Hope this helps!

This would be really good if it worked - I've looked and don't appear to have the option (followed your steps but no print to pdf option is there). Have you managed to install a "print to pdf" printer option somehow? Would be great to get details if you have them.

    Thanks

Hmm. That would be a fine solution...but I have no such option and I have the latest update on iOS 9.2. The ability to save as pdf is surprisingly and sorely still missing!

Hi I have a simple work around for saving word documents as pdf thru word mobile.

if you click print and look thru printers, it gives you the option to save as pdf!

if you don't have a printer connected to your device, it should have "save as pdf" as the only option.
