Something went wrong while downloading your template

Hello,

Word, Excel and Powerpoint 2013 offer the new "Start Page" when launching the program. When clicking on a supplied template to open it, the process fails and gives the error message - "Something went wrong while downloading your template". We had the same issue with online templates in Office 2010. Has anyone had this same issue and is there a fix for it? We use Sophos Endpoint Security for anti-virus. Thanks.

If you try downloading the template manually from http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/templates/?CTT=97, does that work?

Yes, I can download templates from the address that you posted.

    Uninstalling Visio Viewer 2013 works for me too.  I have Visio Pro so don't really need a viewer ( I suppose ) and after uninstalling this Visio Viewer 2013, Word starts working with creating new document that requires downloading new template not on my PC.  I wouldn't have guessed, not in a million years, such unrelated product would affect each other!  Thank you so much.

    This answer doesnt work for me, because the template I am trying to download is not available at the link.

    It's a Microsoft template (not a 3rd party one).
