Hello,
Word, Excel and Powerpoint 2013 offer the new "Start Page" when launching the program. When clicking on a supplied template to open it, the process fails and gives the error message - "Something went wrong while downloading your template". We had the same issue with online templates in Office 2010. Has anyone had this same issue and is there a fix for it? We use Sophos Endpoint Security for anti-virus. Thanks.

If you try downloading the template manually from http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/templates/?CTT=97, does that work?

Yes, I can download templates from the address that you posted.
We have resolved the issue now, thanks for your help.
Use the link that Stefan provided to access the templates that you want and when they open in Word OnLine, click on File and then Save As and then Download a copy to download a copy to your machine.
Is there any way to actually get it to work through the program? The problem for me seems to just be with certain templates.
The link I posted offers a workaround; that's true.
Which templates are not available for download via File | New? Is the problem with all templates or just some of them?
As far as I know, there has been no official statement from Microsoft on this topic.
