Hello,
Word, Excel and Powerpoint 2013 offer the new "Start Page" when launching the program. When clicking on a supplied template to open it, the process fails and gives the error message - "Something went wrong while downloading your template". We had the same issue with online templates in Office 2010. Has anyone had this same issue and is there a fix for it? We use Sophos Endpoint Security for anti-virus. Thanks.

If you try downloading the template manually from http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/templates/?CTT=97, does that work?

Yes, I can download templates from the address that you posted.
We have resolved the issue now, thanks for your help.
I would like a real fix for this, as that work around isn't what I consider a fix. Also it seems you have to have an office 365 account to even access that which we are trying to avoid.

When installing Visio viewer 2013 32 and 64 bit all the templates are broken for any Office 2013 application in file -> new.
When just remove the Visio viewer 32 or 64 bit everything is working fine.
But I want to have visio viewer 32 and 64 bit.
Uninstall Visio Viewer 2013. Worked for me
