Problem with copy & paste in Excel 2010

I am running Excel 2010 on Windows 7. I am having a problem with the cut and paste command. This has worked OK for the few months I have been using the program, but the paste options have suddenly stopped working properly.  When I click on paste special, the only options shown are unicode text or text, with no explanation. When I copy and paste formulas, e. g. autosum,  it is not applying them properly to the selected cells, or it is just pasting the values of the copied cells. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Office Home and Business 2010, but the problem is still there. Any ideas?

Skype has released an updated version of the Click to Call browser add-on that should be free of the problem mentioned above.

If you want it, go to http://www.skype.com/intl/en-us/get-skype/on-your-computer/click-to-call/windows/ and click Download Now.

    To all who have posted here,

    Have a look at the following link on this forum and then follow the link at the bottom of the post and read all posts. Then tell us if it is when you have an internet borwser open and if so, which one.

    Provide as much info as possible on your operating system and whether 32 or 64 bit and full info on version and actual Office package. (ie. Home and Student, Small business etc.) plus internet browser or other programs open at the same time and if closing any of them alleviates the problem. Anything else you think of that might be relevant.

    With any luck we might be able to get the Microsoft engineers to take it up, especially if there are enough replies and there is any possiblility of providing sufficient information to replicate the problem.

    You are spot on when I close the browser it works, the details of my system are as follows:

    Windows 7 Home Premium

    Microsoft Office Home and Business 2010

    64 bit
