Problem with copy & paste in Excel 2010

I am running Excel 2010 on Windows 7. I am having a problem with the cut and paste command. This has worked OK for the few months I have been using the program, but the paste options have suddenly stopped working properly.  When I click on paste special, the only options shown are unicode text or text, with no explanation. When I copy and paste formulas, e. g. autosum,  it is not applying them properly to the selected cells, or it is just pasting the values of the copied cells. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Office Home and Business 2010, but the problem is still there. Any ideas?

Skype has released an updated version of the Click to Call browser add-on that should be free of the problem mentioned above.

If you want it, go to http://www.skype.com/intl/en-us/get-skype/on-your-computer/click-to-call/windows/ and click Download Now.

    Click to call installs seperate to skype, so in W7, Control Panel> Uninstal, and scroll down the list and click on click to call.

    I'm late to the party, but thanks for the answer. I was prompted for a Skype update on June 1 and confirmed. It updated my Skype to 5.9.0.115 and at the same time, and without my being aware, also installed Skype Click to Call. I discovered the copy/paste problems described above, tried everything I could think to fix it, and only today did I see this forum. I uninstalled the Click to Call and the problem was resolved. I don't know why my update in June is still causing the problems identified in March/April by my new best friends above, and I hope that someone who has more time and is better connected can make contact with the Skype engineers. Thanks to all.

    There was an update to Skype Click to Call from March 2012 that caused it to remove formatting from the Windows clipboard; this affected all Windows programs but it was most noticeable in Office applications such as Word and Excel because we frequently use those to copy formatted content.

    Did you restart your computer after removing Skype Click to Call?
