I just upgraded to a full version of MS Office 2013. I am using Word and notice two things. One, it is not auto-correcting misspelled words as I type, and two, when I go to the "Review" tab and select "Spelling and Grammar" to do a spell check, it says "Spelling and grammar complete. You're good to go!" This is not correct.
I've gone to the Options menu. Autocorrect is turned on. Nothing else seems to make logical sense to me.
Is anyone else having this issue? Can someone help? I NEED my spell check.
Thank you
PS. My OS is Win7, 64-bit and I'm using Office 2013.

Thanks, Charles. I've updated all my articles now--even wrote a new (Ribbon) version of the letterhead one, so I hope to continue to provide help to users of current versions.
Mine kept changing back to the box being check and then i figured out that if you uncheck both boxes it stoped
this is the most breathtakingly useless piece of software. I have ticked, unticked, downloaded dictionaries and NOTING stops it. Apparently "pay" is not a word. Bring Back Office 97.
I did as you instructed, but it's already unchecked and the spell check still does not work. :-( I REQUIRE my spell check as I'm a very bad speller.
