Wow is this annoying. I loved the fact that when searching 2013 no longer loses the search string like 2010 did.
I hate this lack of dropping links.
I found two other workaround variants.
If I use shift-right-click Copy as path I can paste those (either folders or files) as links and click through to them in OneNote 2013. However if the file is on a mounted netshare it keeps the mount point which is bad for others.
If I right drag a file or folder onto a new email message and say "create hyperlink here", outlook nicely undoes the mount point so it is a fully qualified netshare reference. I can do that with as many files or folders as a want into one email message, then copy and paste those over to onenote.
