Have upgraded from Windows 7 to Windws 8 and have thereafter installed the Office 2013 trial version on my HP Pavilion dv7 laptop. The Dragon Naturally Speaking version 12 works with MS Outlook as well as MS Excel however whenever I attempt to open MS Word i get a response Microsoft Word has stopped working: A problem caused te program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available. Please help me or inform me how long shall it take to provide the solution.

I shall try to assist you in related to your Word issue.
Verify if the ‘Dragon naturally speaking’ (Netspeak) add-in is enabled in Word application?
Try running the Word application as administrator by following the steps below
Right click on Word application and click ‘Run as admin’.
And follow the steps below to enable naturally speaking (add-in) in Word and check if it works fine.
Click on File, Options, Add-ins, and Click on ‘GO’ beside Manage – COM Add-ins and check the add-in option next to Netspeak and click OK

This seems to be a issue with DNS Non-Microsoft add-in which is causing the Word application to crash, however you may contact the DNS and check if they can provide any patch or update related to the same.
I would also like to confirm that Word 2013 x64 crashes when Dragon Naturally Speaking 12 is running which is a shame as this is the main program this is used with.
From what I have read it appears the x86 version of Word may work but this would mean uninstalling all of office and then installing the x86 version as they can't be installed side by side.
As it is Word that is crashing and not DNS it would seem that Office needs a patch to make it compatible. Is a patch likely to be released soon? Or is it DNS that need to update the software?

I do not need to uninstall Dragon Naturally Speaking Premium Ver. 12.
Whenever I need to use Word 2013, I have to close the Dragon Nat Speak program. Word works fine when Nat Speak is not running.
The purpose of installing Nat Speak is to be able to use the program for dictating text into Word.
Nat Speak works with Outlook 2013 under Windows 8 64 bit environment. MS Word 2013 will not work while Nat Speak is running.
Nat Speak works great with Word 2010. Word 2013 seems to be requiring some patch or update which seems to be missing.
People at Microsoft are requested to please look into the matter and suggest a remedy for me to be able to use Word 2013 with Nat Speak under the 64 bit Windows 8 environment. I have been holding back my purchase of Office 2013 since I am unable to use Word 2013 with Dragon Naturally Speaking Premium Ver 12.
There can be several like me holding back on the decision to procure Office 13 for the same reason.
Please do provide an early resolution.
