Have upgraded from Windows 7 to Windws 8 and have thereafter installed the Office 2013 trial version on my HP Pavilion dv7 laptop. The Dragon Naturally Speaking version 12 works with MS Outlook as well as MS Excel however whenever I attempt to open MS Word i get a response Microsoft Word has stopped working: A problem caused te program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available. Please help me or inform me how long shall it take to provide the solution.

I shall try to assist you in related to your Word issue.
Verify if the ‘Dragon naturally speaking’ (Netspeak) add-in is enabled in Word application?
Try running the Word application as administrator by following the steps below
Right click on Word application and click ‘Run as admin’.
And follow the steps below to enable naturally speaking (add-in) in Word and check if it works fine.
Click on File, Options, Add-ins, and Click on ‘GO’ beside Manage – COM Add-ins and check the add-in option next to Netspeak and click OK

Looking good! It's a very good program now (since v12 really), but I found the need for 16gb RAM which most people don't have (you are fine of course).

On Friday, I reinstalled my windows seven, 64 bit operating system. Today, I have reinstalled Dragon speaking 12.5. It seems to be working fine for now. Additionally, Outlook 2013 has not immediately disabled the Dragon program. That makes me optimistic that I am on the right path at this point and that hopefully Dragon 12.5 will continue to work for me. I've dictated this message with Dragon 12.5. Thank you to all who helped and commented.
What specific "instructions above" are you referring to? I have not seen any instructions that will make Dragon 12.5 work with Office 2013 other than temporarily (as in 2-4 days max) and I have spoken with numerous techs at both Dragon and Microsoft. Thank you for your help.
