MS Word 2013 stops working with The Dragon Naturally Speaking version 12

Have upgraded from Windows 7 to Windws 8 and have thereafter installed the Office 2013 trial version on my HP Pavilion dv7 laptop. The Dragon Naturally Speaking version 12 works with MS Outlook as well as MS Excel however whenever I attempt to open MS Word i get a response Microsoft Word has stopped working: A problem caused te program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available. Please help me or inform me how long shall it take to provide the solution.

I shall try to assist you in related to your Word issue.

Verify if the ‘Dragon naturally speaking’ (Netspeak) add-in is enabled in Word application?

Try running the Word application as administrator by following the steps below

Right click on Word application and click ‘Run as admin’.

And follow the steps below to enable naturally speaking (add-in) in Word and check if it works fine.

Click on File, Options, Add-ins, and Click on ‘GO’ beside Manage – COM Add-ins and check the add-in option next to Netspeak and click OK

    I called Dragon (Nuance) tech support and they said they haven't certified 12 to run on Office 2013. They said they are working on the patch and as soon as it was done (no timing given) that they would update Nat Speaking 12 to run correctly with 2013. They suggested I stick with Word 2010 or 2007 if I didn't like the flicker in the meantime.

    I have the same problem.  After installing MS Word on a Windows 7, 64 bit PC, I have the screen flickering whenever I click anywhere on it.  I have followed Raju Das instructions and the 64 bit version of NatSpeak Word AddIn is installed.  I also followed the instructions from an MS Help webpage, made sure I have the latest video driver and disable hardware graphics acceleration in MS Word 2013 Advanced Options.  Nothing seems to help.

    When I close the user profile in my Dragon Naturally Speaking 12.00.100.010 Premium, MS Word 2013 stops flickering.  Once I reopen it, Word starts flickering again!

    It is time Microsoft and Nuance get together and fix it, otherwise I (and many others) won't upgrade to the next version of MS or DNS.

    I am also having trouble using dragon 12 in word 13

    Also, when in access it always opens dragonpad instead of typing straight onto database. How do I stop that?
