How to display margins in Word 2013

Thanks to all of you for comments.  It is not the Ruler!  Most of you have it right, and the comment from MS is essential.  Maybe it was a mistake!  There needs to be a method to return "text boundaries" to the mix with the same "look and feel" it had in 2007 - 2010 and before. 

I now use "crop marks" which shows in the four corners of the document, and that is a "D-" replacement for a "A" "text boundaries"! 

As with many other items, until one uses the feature, you don't know what you are missing.  As a teacher, I have shown this feature to many, and few disliked it!  No one knew it existed, and I have taught some very talented Word users.

Let's hope for the best and prepare for the worst with the next version of Office!

You definitely need to prepare for the worst, as the word we've gotten from the Word teams seems to be that the "classic" text boundaries were an accident and a mistake and will not be restored. Unless a real groundswell of grass-roots demand can be demonstrated, I don't think we'll get them back, as this would require new code to get around the deficiency of the new layout engine.

500 comments, or 5,000 or more will mean little if there is NO DESIRE on the part of the Word Team to make an effort to bring it back. 

Users do not care about "code", programming language, etc.  We just know what works, and it is the Word Team's responsibility to make it work for customers!

Similar is the Calendar Wizard!  The best calendar there is, and they left it out in 2013!  Been there for years!  Finally found the work around to get it, but why not in the calendar templates again!  IT WORKED!

Add my grain of sand to the "swell".  I really don't like the boxes around every paragraph.
