How to display margins in Word 2013

I just upgraded from Word 2007 to Word 2013.  In the 2007 version, I could display the margins but I haven't been able to find how to do that in Word 2013.  Does anyone know?  Clicking on "show text boundaries" seems to put a lot of lines in the document only.

    I also found this (among other things) to be very frustrating.  This is my workaround if you don't need it to be in native Word 2013 format.

    Turn on your boundaries.  

    Sigh.  {optional)

    Curse under your breath.  {optional)

    Go to the File menu (once you find it)

    Choose "Save As..."

    Navigate the series of (unnecessary) choices to get to the Save As dialog box that should be one keystroke.

    Choose to save as type: Word 97-2003 (*.doc)

    Boundaries go back where they should be. (yea!)

    If you prefer to have a .docx extension, at that point, you can

    Save As... (again)

    Save as type: Word document (*.docx)

    Then check the box to "Maintain compatibility with previous versions of Word" rather than upgrade it to the native 2013 docx format.

    Boundaries stay in the desired format.

    Given what the Office team has said about text boundaries (see Suzanne's reply), it's unlikely that the feature will ever be restored. My guess is that the option to display them will be removed from the Options dialog box.

    Just to be clear, I'm hoping that I'm wrong and that the feature will be restored.

    Therefore I recommend that you post a suggestion to bring back (useful) text boundaries here:

    Of course we all would like to see text boundaries back.  It was the most awesome item I found.  Regarding the label thing, I agree, however the work around is to turn borders on.  Technically, labels are tables and if you turn the borders on for all sides, you will get "text boundaries"!

    Just let us have text boundaries SOONER THAN LATER!!!!!!

    Let's create the groundswell.  I often refer to the explanation blogs, but never reply.  Here's my first as I am that frustrated.

    After searching online for the last two days determined to find someone who knows how to turn-on the margins, it appears it is not going to work in Word 2013.  Phooey.  Trying to work with labels without margins is difficult.  I suppose I'll have to outline everything - just hope I remember to remove the lines before printing.  So much for a new and improved product.
