Trying to do a mail merge with office 2013.  I've done this for years with other versions of office (2003, 2007, 2010) but it's not working with 2013 for some reason.  I'm following all the steps, but the emails aren't getting sent.  Is there some way that the profile or something is set up wrong so that word isn't sending this properly? I've also tried to send via outlook, but in outlook I can't choose an excel spreadsheet for the list of contacts.

What is wrong with this?  someone plesae help me!  My outlook profiles are all messed up becasue i use icloud to sync the calendar and contacts, but i use pop/stmp (whatever that means) for my email....

    Hi Doug,

No I haven't. I refuse to use a plugin. I purchased Office with a functionality that is supposed to work without a plugin so I expect it to work without a plugin.

I appreciate your effort to help but I can't accept the solution. I used to use this fine in a previous version. I never had any problems.

In that case, the first step should be to ensure Office is working correctly (e.g. by repairing the Office installation via Start > Windows Control Panel > Programs > Programs & Features > Microsoft Office (version) > Change > Repair). The next step would be to merge to a document instead of to email, with the email address field in the mailmerge, and confirm that all the expected data are present. So far, I see no indication that either of these has been done.

    Terry,

Have you tried using my MergeTools add-in that I mentioned in my response of October 14, 2015.

    Paul,

If you look back through the thread to where Terry Terrian joined in around 25 August, you will see that the issue is not being able to execute a merge to email (either HTML or as Plain Text) when using Word with Outlook, Office Home and Business 2013.

If you care to say exactly what problems you're having and which Word version you're using, maybe someone can help you resolve your mailmerge issues. Simply saying "still haven't been able to use Mail Merge" doesn't give anyone anything to work with.
