What happened to Pivot Table view in Access 2013?

Yes change is hard, but inevitable. The way I read the tea leaves this was a feature that was too costly to maintain and not used enough, and a perfectly good alternative exists in Excel.

Not used enough? How does MSFT know? That's where that "Customer Experience" thing comes in. If you turn that off, MSFT does not know you use Pivot Table all the time and that's one more strike against the feature.

How many people would know to come to this website to complain about the missing Pivot tables?  There must be many user out there who have suddenly lost some functionality in their system and they probably think it's something they have done wrong.

Small developers like myself find this very frustrating when I have always kept up to date with Microsoft versions, but now I find I have to not only keep the old version but have to insist my clients keep the old version.  And it's hard to obtain an old version now - certainly Microsoft are not offering it - that would be nice!!  I'm being forced into a corner here.

Unfortunately, not enough people voiced their dislike at the Pivot tables being gone.  So, I'm afraid we just all have to adjust.

There are some really frustrating things in Access, but I also found some very useful ones.  Removing the pivot table view was one of the dumbest things Microsoft ever did.  I have used pivot tables extensively in Excel and love them.  I was ecstatic to see them show up in Access.  Now they're discontinued.....?????  Ms. MVP, please voice this sentiment to Microsoft from one user who is seriously considering downgrading to an older version.

What reference? Do you mean the graph in the Design Tab? That graph has limited functionalities and it's quite hard to use. I'm looking for the Pivot Chart in the Create Form menu, which is easy to use.
