Getting error 0x8007005 Office 2013 H&B activation key

Does anyone have the fix to the following:  Activation for Office 2013 Excel, Word etc.

 How do you want to activate your software?

  • I want to activate the software over the internet. (recommended)

Here is the error: Microsoft Excel

Hi David,

In case you haven't already found the solution right click on Excel 2013 (or any other Office 2013 application) and select 'Run as Administrator' then follow the steps to activate online

    "Run as Administrator" is not a menu option, and is grayed out under the advanced properties.

    Another Happy Customer.  It worked so easily after an entire weekend beating my head against the wall.  (not with MS software but with the forum)

    Thanks. Got me up and running.  Our admin worked several days trying to resolve this issue before I found this solution. Our admin was confused because some users activated without needing to 'Run As Administrator'. This led our admin to believe the problem was related to individual environments. Interestingly, I am both a local and domain admin, but still had to 'Run As Administrator'.
