Hi David,

In case you haven't already found the solution right click on Excel 2013 (or any other Office 2013 application) and select 'Run as Administrator' then follow the steps to activate online

Regards

Mark

"Run as Administrator" is not an option with Right-Click for Office 2013 on my Windows 7 Pro machine.

I've "repaired' and performed sfc /scannow and still can not register this software.

    Any help is appreciated.

It is this type of time wasting wild goose chase advice that causes so much frustration with users, and me in particular.

Why would you assume that the users environment is the problem and not the obscure run as admin issue that has been tripping up many users. Thanks to Di Ciano the fix is 10 seconds and not several hours of time wasted.
