Getting error 0x8007005 Office 2013 H&B activation key

MS Office 2013 guru's

Does anyone have the fix to the following:  Activation for Office 2013 Excel, Word etc.

 How do you want to activate your software?

  • I want to activate the software over the internet. (recommended)

Here is the error: Microsoft Excel

Hi David,

In case you haven't already found the solution right click on Excel 2013 (or any other Office 2013 application) and select 'Run as Administrator' then follow the steps to activate online

    Hi David,

     

    In case you haven't already found the solution right click on Excel 2013 (or any other Office 2013 application) and select 'Run as Administrator' then follow the steps to activate online

    Works but I had to:

    • Right-Click
    • Select "Properties"
    • Select "Compatibility" tab
    • Check box at bottom for "Run this Program as an Administrator"

    then Apply/OK

    Pick an office application in the start up menu (I chose Word).  Right-click the start menu item and select Properties.  Go to the Compatibility tab.  At the bottom under Privilege Level, check the box next to Run this program as Administrator.  Click OK.

    Now open the application you just modified in the start menu.  When presented with the User Account Control popup select Yes..  The registration will go through.

    Remember to modify the application menu item again (uncheck Run this program as Administrator) else you will be presented with the User Access Control warning every time you open that application.
