Sounds like you may have a Bluetooth Add-in that is causing the problem.  Click on the File menu, then Options and then on Add-Ins and then click on the Go button alongside Manage Add-ins and if there is a Bluetooth Add-in, disable it.

    Faulting Application Path:              C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office 15\root\office15\WINWORD.EXE

I could copy the lines from the clipboard to Word, and then copy those lines here.  Is this of any use?  Is there a more productive way to get the information to the web site?

I'm told I know enough to be dangerous, or maybe it is just hyperactivity.

This is my (expanding) list of things to try when Office 2013 won’t start or crashes:

See the KnowledgeBase article “Office 2013 applications crash on launch at the splash screen” at:

    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2813143

Or see the KnowledgeBase article Error: “Something went wrong and we can't sign you in right now” when trying to install Office 2013 at:

Do you have Abbyy Finereader installed on the PC? A number of people have reported that removing it overcomes problems with 2013

Removed Abbyy Finereader and my 2013 word and excel works.

    Brilliant thank you.

    Hi,

I have the same problem, when I open Word 2013 a box with 'Word has stopped working' appears.

I have tried going into safe mode (which also crashes 9/10) and if by some miracle I manage to get into word, I follow your instructions.

When I look at the COM add-ons the Abbyy Finereader is not there, there's no add-ons at all.

Word still crashes and quite frankly, this is the sort of thing that shouldn't happen with a product I've paid for.

    I am on a Windows 8 Desktop.

    Can you please help me???
