Microsoft Word 2013 has stopped working

Whenever I try to open Word 2013 (safe mode is working fine), it says Word 2013 has stopped working. All other Office 2013 are working correctly.

Sounds like you may have a Bluetooth Add-in that is causing the problem.  Click on the File menu, then Options and then on Add-Ins and then click on the Go button alongside Manage Add-ins and if there is a Bluetooth Add-in, disable it.

    This happened to me right after I set up a new wireless printer.  I got the advice to start safe mode by holding down the ctrl key but that didn't work for me.

    Instead, I had to use the run program.  When the box came up, I typed winword /safe  (don't forget the space after windword).

    That opened microsoft word 2013 in safe mode. 

    Once word 2013 opens, click file, then options, then add-ins.

    At the bottom of the add-ins box is a place to click manage add-ins.  Click "go".  Un-check any that don't look familiar.

    It worked for me.  I hope this helps you.

    Start Word in Safe Mode by holding down the CTRL key while you start it.

    The program stops before I can get to the add-ins and does not allow me access.  Is there another way to change without opening the program?  I am getting the error for excel, word, powerpoint, etc...

    I can't even get to add-ins.  I was told it was due to Windows 8.1 update.  I have quick repaired, online repaired, uninstalled, reinstalled twice - I can't get to the point of addins.  Do you know of any other solutions or steps I may take?
