Unable to open Word 2013 Error: Word has stopped Working.

Original Title: $140 for ****!

I have purchased Office Home & Student 2013 and it installed perfectly fine. Yet, when I go to Word and try open a blank document out pops a box stating Microsoft Word has stopped working and I will be notified IF there is a fix. WTH! I cannot use the dang program. PLEASE help!!

    Deleted Abby Finereader and it works like normal now. THANK YOU for the tip!!

    Until such time as Abbyy FineReader fix their product so that it does not cause problems with Microsoft Word, use the service available at:

    When I go to removed ABBYY I am told that because it is installed for all users that I need to be an Admin (which I am) I assume that it means that I need to open word in admin mode, which I can do but I don't know how from the run command.  Any suggestions?

    I think that you may need to uninstall it from the Windows Control Panel.
