"Microsoft Word has stopped working" when I close the program

I installed Office 2013. 

All programs launch and work OK.

When I close Excel and Word, I get a message that "Microsoft Word has stopped working."

Word then looks for a solution.

Sometimes it restarts, sometimes it shuts down.

Outlook sometimes shuts down while open.

I then get a message that "Microsoft Outlook has stopped working,"

Outlook then looks for a solution.

Sometimes it restarts, sometimes it shuts down.

I have disabled all add ons. I have uninstalled and re-installed 2013.

What do I try next?

Office 365 has to be bloat ware I have it loaded on 3 computers and it trashed them all. Can't even do a simple word document. Beware office has all the right features but what good are they when it takes all day to try and complete a simple document that should take 10 min. Doesn't anyone else make an office program. I have had Microsoft programs and PC's for over 20 years and have been patient. Don't ever buy anything from Microsoft.

For me, it was the NVIDIA graphics card ... everything works fine again.

I wanted to post this first thing in the morning, but I was even happier to see that you guys already found out yourself!

Epson sends out Abby Reader with all its new printers, so that means this is going to happen a LOT. Big embarrassment for Epson to distribute buggy software and not warn the Epson buyer. Uninstalling it fixed the problem for me, but let's face it, an OCR program is not the first place you'd look when something like this happens. Thanks for the tip!

Yup. Yup yup yup. This is indeed what caused the problem for me, so THANK YOU Sdrum for mentioning EPSON by name; that was what tipped me off to where my problem was, since I had just gotten an EPSON printer when the problem started. Uninstalled Abby Reader and the problem was solved.

Had a chat with Microsoft Technicians last night. They are aware of this problem. However, because of what ABBYY Finereader is, it will be difficult for those people that actually use it to edit documents. I only use the scanner to to send something to an email so I don't need it.
