Download the MergeTools – 20120609 Add-in that I created from the following page of my Windows Live SkyDrive:

https://skydrive.live.com/?cid=5aedcb43615e886b#cid=5AEDCB43615E886B&id=5AEDCB43615E886B%21111

and also the Mail Merging with Charts document that is also on that page.  That document explains how you must set up the Excel Data Source and the Mail Merge Main document to be able to execute a merge with a Chart that is unique to each record in the data source.

    Doug,

Yours work in this area sounds great.  I was able to find the "Mail Merging with Charts" document on your SkyDrive and created the Excel workbook and Mail Merge document as instructed, but could not find the Merge Tool to create the automated merge with Word for multiple documents.  Did I overlook something?

    Thanks,

    Phil

    Hi Ben,

I cannot reproduce that problem using field names of "vest" or "v test".  Are you sure that there was not a space before the "V"

If you can send me a copy of the data source (from which you can delete the records, but leave the field names), I will investigate the issue.

FYI - I did have trouble with fields starting with a "V".

I'm not sure if this was a fluke or related to the Roman Number "V" or what.  I thought I would post this out here to possibly help troubleshoot the Error! No document variable supplied issue.

    Thank you!

You have not defined the Chart bookmark correctly.  You must have the cell of the table selected when you insert the bookmark so that with the display of bookmarks turned on, it looks like [] rather than |.
