Mail Merge with Excel Charts

HI,

I need to execute mail merge with excel charts, there are 100+ records in excel.

Based on certain data field i need to create a pie chart.

Using mail merge i am expected to have different pie chart for each record

Is their any way to create this functionality in office 2010 ???

Download the MergeTools – 20120609 Add-in that I created from the following page of my Windows Live SkyDrive:

and also the Mail Merging with Charts document that is also on that page.  That document explains how you must set up the Excel Data Source and the Mail Merge Main document to be able to execute a merge with a Chart that is unique to each record in the data source.

I am also looking for exactly the same thing, to make a pie chart from Excel data to Word for thousands of data rows. But I have failed to find the add on you have developed on your shared file.

Utised your merge chart add on and working perfectly. I was wondering if you have one for replicating the chart merge to add multiple charts from the one data set. 

I'm running total reward statements and looking to add a number of charts including at least 3.  Payment breakdown pie chart, monthly payment breakdown stacked bar chart and a market benchmark bar chart.

Is there a way ro duplicate the chart bookmark code to include chart 2, chart 3 etc?

Your expertise would be very much appreciated. I can't understand why microsoft haven't incorporated your code to office already.

Thank you, Doug. 

And for other readers, the tool he has created works very well.  I am able to generate an individually named PDF report for each person who has taken the assessment which merges canned text, text specific to the assessment pulled from the excel sheet and include the graph. 

However, you are correct, I have not been able to figure out a way to trigger the report generation automatically when someone responds to the excel survey invitation, so I still have to manually intervene.
