Mail Merge with Excel Charts

I've just sent you a direct email with attachments, but I seem to be experiencing the exact issue referenced by JA_620.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Download the MergeTools – 20130510 Add-in that I created from the following page of my Windows Live SkyDrive:

Save the file in the Word Startup folder.  In Windows XP the default location for that folder is

C:\Documents and Settings[User Name]\Application Data\Microsoft\Word\STARTUP

In Windows Vista and Windows 7, it is

C:\Users[User Name]\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Word\STARTUP

When you have done that, the tab shown below will be added to the Ribbon:

You may also want to download the Merging with Attachments document that is also on that page which explains how the system is used.  It is not actually necessary to have separate attachments as the facility can be used to send just the documents created by the merge itself as attachments, either in the form of Word files or .pdf files.

and also the Mail Merging with Charts document that is also on that page.  That document explains how you must set up the Excel Data Source and the Mail Merge Main document to be able to execute a merge with a Chart that is unique to each record in the data source.

And also the Using the Many to One Facility document that describes how to use that facility.

You are a legend when it comes to the merging of excel charts with MS word.  I cant say that I ever got it to work on Office 2k7 or 2k10, but now that I have 2k13i wanted to try it again.  Similarly to a couple of others whom you've told to email you directly to resolve their issue, I myself also got an error message in the recorded macro.  I have notice lately you may have removed the merge macro from your skydrive.  I cannot find it anymore.  Can you put it out there again or give me a link where I can get it again?

Thank you for the quick response, you are right the Chart bookmark wasn't defined correctly. 

However once I implemented the bookmark with a space I received an 5491 or 5941 error (can't remember exactly).

I then worked through your document and found that the chart bookmark needs to be on the table. So to solve this I implemented the bookmark on the table, which worked except that the chart out sized the table and rendered poorly.

The final fix came when I removed the bookmark from the table and selected the only table cell I had, and this allowed the chart enough space and the ability to re-size according to the table size I wanted.
