Mail Merge with Excel Charts

HI,

I need to execute mail merge with excel charts, there are 100+ records in excel.

Based on certain data field i need to create a pie chart.

Using mail merge i am expected to have different pie chart for each record

Is their any way to create this functionality in office 2010 ???

Download the MergeTools – 20120609 Add-in that I created from the following page of my Windows Live SkyDrive:

and also the Mail Merging with Charts document that is also on that page.  That document explains how you must set up the Excel Data Source and the Mail Merge Main document to be able to execute a merge with a Chart that is unique to each record in the data source.

    Thank you very much for your dotm file and instructions. I used them to create a detailed compensation report and chart for every employee. One hiccup I had was I didn't select the whole cell in the table when adding the bookmark - I put the curser in the cell and added the bookmark. Also, as a formatting note, I made the table lines transparent so they wouldn't show up in the finished document.  Thanks again!

    I had the same error. It was because I used a special character in the header row. It also doesn't like labels that begin with a number, like "401k".  I renamed that header "k401" and removed a dash and a forward slash and all the errors went away.

    Hi Doug

    The addin does not seem to be there anymore in the folder. Just the word doc and pdf files.

    Is it stored somewhere else?
