Access 2013 - Dbase (.dbf) Table Import option

I need to be able to import read/write Dbase dbf tables - yes they are still around so why has the standard option that was in Access 2010 gone?

I have seen mention of ISAM, which is gobbledegook to me. So please a simple answer - what do I need to install or change and how do I do it?

    In order to give your complaints a voice, why not go to the User Voice forum and vote. Vote for Connectivity to dbase (dbf) files.

    The answer, of course, is very simple. You do NOT have to upgrade Office, unless you really want to. Or, of course, you can upgrade everything but Access.

    That's one very viable solution that seems not to be welcomed because it's more fun to rant against Microsoft.

    Upgrade to Office 20XX Standard for Word, Excel, et al. And keep Access 2010. Done.

    "Why should I have to reprogram EVERYTHING we do"

    This is what I suggest inspired by the experience of the people in this forum in this field...

    the people of Microsoft make a little button, that says "keep using at your own risk or convert your old, deprecated, outdated (BUT ESSENTIAL TO YOUR BUSINESS) DB and ALL its connections".

    into "real" Access 563 stuff

    or ask for a technician to come over... so we get the thing done!

    Another thing you could do before releasing something like "MS Access 2019 "Continuum" Android Wear App not compatible with any other thing or device except Mac and Wind Finger Swipe technologies"... and Hololens...

    Buy Lotus Approach get some Industrial Inspiration and make an historical move into easy DB management... or teach us MYSQL, Java, Oracle...

    Thank you Microsoft for keeping focused on our needs

    PS My PC is getting a little bossy... it used to have an option to turn off without updating...  now I only get two choices

    "turn off and update" or

    "update and turn off"... oh... just like Google.... the have it or leave it option.

    We also DBF files to export/import and pass data between multiple programs, as one of the few common denominators between them.  Yes we are also a lettershop.  If anyone does create such a module (I actually need Access and Word connectivity - import and mailmerge, respectively), then I would definitely be interested.

    Why should I have to reprogram EVERYTHING we do in order to upgrade to a new computer and therefore new MS-Office?
