I need to be able to import read/write Dbase dbf tables - yes they are still around so why has the standard option that was in Access 2010 gone?
I have seen mention of ISAM, which is gobbledegook to me. So please a simple answer - what do I need to install or change and how do I do it?

You have the possibility
- Install official "Visual Fox Pro ODBC Driver"
- Create a new ODBC Driver:
a. Driver "Microsoft FoxPro VFP Driver (*.dbf)"
b. Select "Free table directory" option and select DBF files folder.
- In Access you have the possibiity to choose this new ODBC profile to import data table, join, manage, ect... dbf as a table.

2015-10-21T20:31:10+00:00 ODBC is not functional option when you have 100s of DBFs that you need to import and pre-process for integration into a large SQL Server data repository.
