How do I email a .pdf attachment through a mail merge Word & Outlook 2010

We email out group interest letters, the merge letter is created in Word 2010 and than email through mail merge Outlook 2010. We attached a .pdf flyer to each email. (at this time we are email one at a time.)

Is there a way to attach a .pdf file to an email blast (mail merge)? We are running XP right now but will be changing to Windows 7 with in the coming weeks.

Any help we could get on this would be great. Everything I have been able to pull off the internet is on earlier visions of Microsoft Office and Windows.

Thank you in advance.

I have looked at this but this is for earlier versions of Microsoft Office. I need something that will work with Office 2010, but thank you!

While the method to which Gordon gave you the link will work with any version of Word from Word 97 onwards, I have developed a much simpler method that you can use if you download the MergeTools – 20120225 Add-in that I created from the following page of my OneDrive:

The mergetools template must be saved in the Word Startup folder.

    Hello -

I have a source document which is an invoice template my data source is a list of the invoices I need to email out. Is it possible to mailmerge to email but attach each page of the mailmerge output as PDF, not just as a outlook message?

    Thanks.

Go to the Word Options dialog (either Office button>Word Options in 2007 or File>Options in 2010) and then click on Trust Center.

Which radio button is checked under Macro Settings?

If you go to Trusted Locations is C:\Users\CH.TELEVIC\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Word\OPSTARTEN listed?

Is there a check mark in the Disable all Trusted Locations box?

    Hello

I saved it on the location you have given (it is in DUTCH) but it is the same.

    C:\Users\CH.TELEVIC\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Word\OPSTARTEN

Then I also tried to allow all macro's to be executed, that doesn't help either.

He keeps saying that the macro cannot be found or has been disabled

Where did you save the file?  You need to save it in the location that is given in the text that appears if you open it.
