Here is another way.

1.  In the pages program on your mac, click on File, then Export to followed by Word

2.  On the Word” tab. Click on “Advanced Options" and on the format bar, click on .docx (if using any word version 2007 to present, or .doc if earlier version.

3.  On Save as, give the file a name, and location (desktop or flash drive) and click on export.

You can now take that file to any PC that has Word and open.

    In order to open .pages on windows:

    -Make an iCloud account

    -Open Pages within icloud.com

    -Drag and drop your pages document

    -Once uploaded, right-click on the document and select "Download a copy"

    -Select "Word"

    You should now have a .docx document
