Here is another way.

1.  In the pages program on your mac, click on File, then Export to followed by Word

2.  On the Word” tab. Click on “Advanced Options" and on the format bar, click on .docx (if using any word version 2007 to present, or .doc if earlier version.

3.  On Save as, give the file a name, and location (desktop or flash drive) and click on export.

You can now take that file to any PC that has Word and open.

    Brilliant answer - it cuts through all the tech rubbish and it works.  Well done Deven - this is the first straight forward solution I've found after quite a bit of searching.

    Hi there,

    If you are talking about opening a file with .pages extension , well that is possible.

    Steps.

    1. Save the file locally on your windows computer.
    2. Right click on the file and select rename.
    3. Remove .pages extension and enter .zip as the extension and press enter.
    4. Open the zip file and it shold allow you open the file and its contents.

    How do you associate winzip. I try and all I get is an index and then opening that I get no text , just programmed language.
