Here is another way.

1.  In the pages program on your mac, click on File, then Export to followed by Word

2.  On the Word” tab. Click on “Advanced Options" and on the format bar, click on .docx (if using any word version 2007 to present, or .doc if earlier version.

3.  On Save as, give the file a name, and location (desktop or flash drive) and click on export.

You can now take that file to any PC that has Word and open.

    Opening a ".pages" file under windows is simple if you remember that ".pages" files are like a compressed collection of files. Associate winzip or winrar with ".pages" files on your windows platform, then double click on the .pages file and open the preview.pdf file within, you can then read the contents and save a local copy if needed.

    I concur with "Mike J S." A recipient of my e-mail attached Mac Pages could not open it. Sent "Deven Suji Darjee's" suggestion and my correspondent reports success. I, as a newbie, was about ready to give up on this forum from all of the "over-my-head" explanations that preceded Deven's.

    How do you associate winzip. I try and all I get is an index and then opening that I get no text , just programmed language.
