I keep getting an error message re: ONENOTE when I try to use my newly installed printer. It worked just fine about 5 times then out of the blue when I tried to print again there is an error message which reads: "Before you can use this feature ONENOTE must start for the first time. You can return here and try again after ONENOTE starts." I have no idea how to remedy this. I did a trouble shoot and it shows my printer is working just fine. PLEASE HELP!

It sounds like the OneNote printer got set as the default and you have not started OneNote.
Try this:
Open the Control Panel
Find the printer you want to use
Right click it and choose "Set as default printer"

Hi I uninstalled OneNote because I had the same trouble that you are all having... But now if I go to control panel than to uninstall something it is saying I have no programs to uninstall on this computer. Yet they are all there, so just letting you know that you may want to check this out on your computer encase the same thing has happen to you...
No need to remove OneNote, just change the "destination" in the printing order which pop-up after click print.

Sorry--I just read your question today and you must have found a solution long ago, considering today's date. But just in case someone else comes here looking for answers: I'm not sure with WiFi, but the solution probably has more to do with what is in the Devices and Printers box in your Control Panel than it does with the means of communication between the computer and printer. Look there and see what printers are listed and which one has a green check-mark on it, marking it as the default. It seems strange to me, but even though One Note is not a physical machine, there is is, listed right along with my Canon (previously HP) printer. Treat it as if it were a physical entity. Delete it and your physical printer if necessary, and reinstall your printer. Sometimes it is enough just to uninstall it and then turn off and restart your computer, which will detect it and "install" it for you. (I am writing from memory here, so may be a little off on some point, but you get the general idea.)
Yes, I took care of it. Just unchecked the One Note. Don't know how it even appeared as I don't use. So in the beginning was not even looking for it....It was like the program invaded. I think I obtained the info. from another poster.
