Hello Greg,
No criticism of you was implied in my message, and I am grateful for the two good workarounds you have explained. They will, am sure be useful for anyone reading this thread, and for which I also want to thank you.
[EDIT:
I am rather concerned that your workaround of using and anchoring a "Shape", may not in fact be appropriate. What will happen if the user changes the Font, and in particular what if they change the
Font Size, for the affected paragraph or indeed the whole document? I anticipate that the "Shape" will
no longer end at the intended position, leaving text either not struck through that was intended to be
struck through, or alternatively leave text struck through which was never intended to be struck through.]
I believe there is a market demand for colour option strikethrough to be provided. Whether this may be provided is of course a matter for Microsoft.
Another thing that might be born in mind is that Microsoft Office is of course a product for which a charge is made, so I hope Microsoft will consider providing colour option strikethrough in future versions.
Regards,
Robert.
