I think there is a flaw in MS Excel 2010. Everything else on my system works fine too.

I am using Office 2010 Professional with Windows 7. The installation was successful and I have no other issues with any Office programs except Excel 2010. Whenever I use the print preview button on the Quick Access Toolbar to check the print preview before printing, or use headers/footers to add these before printing, Excel crashes and forces a restart when I next go to save the document. It may allow me to do up to 3 print previews before I go to save the document and it crashes and attempts to recover the data or just shuts Excel down after a few times.
All other Office program functions work fine and I have checked my printer driver with a Microsoft utility and it reports no issues.
Can anyone help?

Raju,
File is saved locally to C drive.
The problem also happens with newly created small excel files (1 data tab and 3 graphp tabs. Its bloody annoying when you are trying to be productive for a clienta and the file keeps crashing when you try to save after using page setup or page preview.
I am concerned that you are getting me to try things but don't actually know what the problem is or how to solve it? I am happy to try the clean boot although it is a lot of work in case an internal software conflict is the problem, but the enduring question is why is it doing this ONLY in Excel, and ONLY in 2010?
I think there is a fault with Office Excel 2010 which Microsoft has not acknowledged. I have NEVER experienced this problem before on ANY computer or any other MS program or any prior version.
I look forward to your insights. Do you know what the problem is? Have you heard of this problem with other users? Do you know what teh solution is?
i have this same problem with all files, network and local and most of my files are below 500kb.
there are no macros in my files.
all my other office programs work fine.
Where is this file saved (locally or on a network location)?
Does it contain any Macro?
Does this issue happen with one specific file or with all excel files?
Create a new test Excel file, and check if it works fine.
Raju,
Is this the only solution you can suggest?
Richard.
