I am testing Excel 2010 on a few Windows 7 pc. 2 of them somethings get the following error after saving a file. Click ok and then it appears after 10 seconds. It just keep going on until I kill the excel process. Please assist.

You could try choosing File, Options, Advanced, and under General check Ignore other applications that use DDE.

Thanks Phil, Acrord32.exe solution worked well and cancelled the error meaning I didnt lose any work.
I noticed it occurred while trying to embed a PDF while it was still open in Adobe Reader. Tried again after clearing the error and ensuring the source document was CLOSED and it worked fine.

In my particular case, IE was doing something (waiting for network I/O :D ). The Excel file causing the issue was originating from a network drive, but in Task Manager - IE was unresponsive. After I killed the IE process - the Excel file was saved successfully. If the proposed solution does not help - take a look in Task Manager for any unresponsive processes or processes consuming bandwidth and try ending those.
