I am testing Excel 2010 on a few Windows 7 pc.  2 of them somethings get the following error after saving a file.  Click ok and then it appears after 10 seconds. It just keep going on until I kill the excel process.  Please assist.

Hi,

You could try choosing File, Options, Advanced, and under General check Ignore other applications that use DDE.

    A solution that worked for me in Excel 2010:

    1-Bring up the Task manger, and End Process on any Excel.exe

    2-Start Excel

    3-File > Options > Add-ins

    4-In "Manage", select "Disabled Items", then click Go

    5-Select and enable any disabled items

    I had this problem when trying to open Excell or Access and the program freezes. The MS programs try to set up the printer but fail because of not connecting to the printer.

    Solution was to repair the network printer with corrupted drivers.  Remove the printer from Devices and Printers folder and clean out the Devices and Printers folder  Print Server Properties by removing all the printer drivers from the PC.
